Application

Used in the working (unprotected) lining of furnaces, not subjected to the action of melts, abrasive forces, and mechanical impacts, or in the intermediate (protected) insulation.

Description

Mullite lightweight heat-insulating brick belongs to high-alumina refractories. Mullite lightweight refractory brick represents a new type of heat-insulating material with Al₂O₃ content 50-80%, where mullite (3Al₂O₃·2SiO₂) is the main crystalline and binding phase.
