It is a high-quality refractory material in which the main crystalline phase is corundum (α-Al₂O₃), with an Al₂O₃ content exceeding 90%

Application

It is widely used as lining material in petrochemical thermal units operating under conditions of high temperature, high pressure, strong chemical erosion, and mechanical wear.

Description

High-purity corundum brick is manufactured through high-pressure forming and high-temperature sintering using electrically fused white corundum, tabular corundum, and ultrafine powders. Corundum brick exhibits high hardness and melting point, along with excellent stability against acidic and basic slags, molten metals, and glass solutions. It is characterized by advantages such as high-temperature resistance, high compressive strength, superior resistance to high-temperature erosion, and erosion resistance.
